Family Role Model
What a lovely picture of an American Family. Husband and wife surrounded by five sons and daughter-in-laws and sixteen grandchildren.
I wonder if the early decision to be a stay-at-home mom was inspiration to the sons to get married and stay married. I certainly find it both inspirational and reassuring in many respects. One that impinges on no one but certainly encourages a happy family.

A little too matchy matchy for my taste. But it is amazing to look at that. Two people created that many people, and there could very well be more grandchildren.

Reminds me of my Maternal Grandparents on the farm; 10 of 12 kids survived infancy, all married but two had no children. Lots of grand- and great-grand kids. I was young when they had the last family reunion; the panoramic b/w photo was a real neck twister ! Feeding that crowd was an act of genius.
