To Brighten Your Day
Good News Everybody!
Obama’s awful, terrible, catastrophically bad day
Of course, a lot can happen between now and Election Day and the advice “Don’t Get Cocky” is always appropriate but neither of those points will stop me from doing a little happy dance.
And with this tidbit of news, my happy dance gets a little longer – President Obama embarrassed by inmate No. 11593-051

Yes, it was a great day at the polls for Rs. 20% of NC dems also touched the screen (pulled the lever) for “Other / No Preference”; not an opponent, not a write-in, just “no body”. I found that humorous !
The Marriage Amendment passed 61 – 39 and the gays and dems are squealing like stuck pigs ! They swear up n down that it isn`t about special or extra rights; they just want the same rights as everyone else. Well, here`s a surprise for you; a gay or straight man can marry a gay or straight woman and a gay or straight woman can marry a gay or straight man. You already have the same rights as everyone else. You absolutely DO want “special rights” ! Your hoax went down in NC !
Luger`s loss demonstrates that the MSM`s false meme that the Tea Party is dead or fading away is wrong ! The momentum of 2010 carries on !

I am against gay marriage. I believe there should be constitutional amendment. The reason that I want an amendment is that under the constitution they are being discriminated against. You are allowed to marry for love, you are saying that has no meaning in marriage. You are bringing it down to a contract level. Once this goes to SCOTUS it will be the law of the land and that will be in our lifetime without an amendment.

I am pleased that NC joined 31 other states in making it a Constitutional reality that marriage is ONLY between one man and one woman. It would have been only a matter of time until some pro-gay marriage judge read something into the existing law that isn`t there and there would have been another fight. Now, it will take a statewide vote to change the constitution.
A number of gays, individuals and couples, have promised to stage sit-ins in Clerks of Court offices to protest the passage of the amendment. They plan to ask for marriage licenses and when they are refused, they will sit down in the floor and refuse to leave, leading to arrests for 2nd degree trespassing charges. A lot that will accomplish !
