The Scolding Of America’s Child Emperor

I am not a Bible scholar, but I do know this:  Israel is the apple of God’s eye and radical Islam despises her.  The covenant between God and the people of Israel is recorded in Genesis 17:7-8:

7 “I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you. 8 “I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

After sitting in Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church for twenty years, I think it is safe to assume that America’s Child Emperor was never introduced to this covenant by the venerable reverend.

God created, defends and constantly watches over Israel.  Evidence for this statement can be found in Deuteronomy 11:10-12:

10 “For the land, into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you used to sow your seed and water it with your foot like a vegetable garden. 11 “But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven, 12 a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year.”

God’s pledge to curse any nation that attacked Israel is demonstrated in the attack of the Amalekites upon Israel.  The Amalekites became associated with ruthlessness and trickery and tyranny, even more so than Pharaoh or the Philistines, and required a ruthless response.

The prophet Obadiah writes in Obadiah 1:15:  “As you have done (to Israel), it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall return upon your own head.”

Will the distaste of America’s Child Emperor for traditional American allies become legendary?

Long overdue, in my humble opinion, Jewish donors and fund-raisers are warning the Obama re-election campaign that the president is at risk of losing financial support because of concerns about his handling of Israel.

On Thursday, May 19, 2011 America’s Child Emperor made an unprecedented demand that Israel must surrender territory crucial to its very existence. Israel is the only state in the Middle East with a judiciary system that is honest, has an independent media, credible political parties and free and fair elections.  He expects Netanyahu to negotiate Israel’s destiny with Islamic radicals who want no part of these things.  It’s as though the ghost of Yasser Arafat is whispering in Obama’s ear.

The biblical references mentioned above are deliberate because this president is choosing to ignore God’s covenant with the Israeli people and His promise “As you have done (to Israel), it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall return upon your own head.”

He is doing much more than stirring up a hornet’s nest.  He is incurring the wrath of God.

Israel was created by a sovereign act of God 3500 years ago.  What God has created no man, and especially this president, shall put asunder.  Modern-era liberals have moved away from the teachings of the Bible.  Their ignorance is astounding.  Were they residents of Sderot, the most heavily bombed place in the world, their tune would be wholly different.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s public scolding of this president was courageous. Tuesday he will address a joint session of Congress and later the annual gathering of Washington’s most powerful pro-Israel lobby, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.  Today, May 22nd, America’s Child Emperor will address AIPAC in what the Obama regime hopes will dispel the fears of Israel’s supporters.

AIPAC President Lee Rosenberg has sent an e-mail to delegates not to boo President Barack Obama during his speech to the AIPAC annual policy conference on Sunday. “We ask that you act and react to every speech, address, and briefing that will be offered as part of the conference program in only the most positive manner,” Rosenberg wrote.

Rosenberg’s e-mail is clearly targeted at responses to Obama’s speech, as there is no concern that the AIPAC delegates will heckle Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or other Israeli speakers.

Not only did they not boo, but they gave him a very warm welcome and seemed to be cheering him by the time they left.

I don’t see the Jewish vote turning away from the dems anytime soon.

    McFisticuffs: American Society In Decline

A video of a vicious beating at a Rosedale, Maryland McDonald’s restaurant has racked up hundreds of thousands of views on various websites and forced the fast-food giant to issue a statement decrying the hideous display of a society that is in a steep decline.

Our Concern Regarding the Baltimore Incident

“We are shocked by the video from a Baltimore franchised restaurant showing an assault. This incident is unacceptable, disturbing and troubling. McDonald’s strives to be a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who visits. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of customers and employees in our restaurants. We are working with the franchisee and the local authorities to investigate this matter. We are doing everything possible to make sure the right thing is done.”

Through a McDonald’s spokesman, the owner of the Rosedale restaurant released a statement. The chain said the owner and employees would not be made available for comment, including an update on possible discipline of the employees.

“I’m as shocked and disturbed by this incident as anyone would be. The behavior displayed in the video is unfathomable and reprehensible,” said the franchise owner, Mitchell McPherson. “The safety of our customers is a top priority. We know the police were called immediately, and we are thoroughly investigating this matter.”

You can read the heavily redacted police report here.

If, as 365black.com proclaims, McDonald’s has branched out in the African-American community nourishing it with valuable programs and opportunities could someone please inform the owner of that franchise that the manager and its employees are undeserving of continued employment.  Each voyeur to the beatdown should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for depraved disregard for human life.

For me, William Bennett explains far better than I the systemic decline in our culture in his book, The Index of Leading Cultural Indicators.

“Kids sense more acutely the hypocrisy of the society their parents have created. Trying to live within a social system that claims to represent the pinnacle of human existence, kids find nothing in the adult world but crooked politicians, lecherous preachers, ignorant teachers, greedy lawyers, broken marriage vows, dishonest business deals, shoddy consumer goods, cardboard food, rip offs, scams, and television lies.

Idealist by nature, kids find themselves torn between what they have been taught to believe and how they must live to survive. This estrangement from life can easily breed anger, frustration and resentment. With the world in shambles, their parent’s lives in turmoil, and their own lives a swirl of meaningless confusion and chaos, is it any wonder some of them choose to opt out?

Kids see life drained of significance by values that should point to meaning, but in fact point nowhere.”

Oh, You Hate Your Job? Why Didn’t You Say So?

An official close to the American Child Emperor’s regime revealed that Barry Soetoro AKA Barack Hussein Obama “has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China.”  As he put it, “No one is scrutinizing Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square.”

The quotation is part of a piece aimed at explaining the emperor’s thinking on the chaos in the Arab nations and his envy for the Chinese president is meant to demonstrate the complexity of balancing pragmatism with idealism.  Really?  I say the dude is a lazy, gutless wonder.

What the hell was this guy thinking when he ran for office?  Perhaps he got a skewed view of public office while he was a state senator in the Illinois legislature.

According to a report by The New York Times, Obama voted “present” 129 times as a state senator. The AP reported that Obama said the votes represented a small portion—a little more than 3 percent—of the “roughly 4,000″ votes he cast as a member of the state Senate.  Meh.

As President of the United States, the gelding who currently occupies the Oval Office can no longer take a pass on difficult issues.  He can’t vote “present” anymore because he’s either on the campaign trail, on the golf course or on one of his numerous vacations.

I haven’t seen people around the world who are fighting for their freedom call on Hu Jintao for help.  Have you?

He can’t contain the groundswell of opposition to this policies and his astonishing inertia. Sadly, for him and for us, he did run for president of the United States. Maybe he should start acting like one and quit his whining.

Tags: Albert Snyder, Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder, Margie Phelps, Snyder v. Phelps, Westbor Baptist Church

“The Mouth Of God” Is A Hateful, Greasy-Headed Hag

Margie Phelps, lawyer for and member of Westboro Baptist Church, couldn’t wait to get before the cameras after the 8-1 Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday, March 3, 2011 in favor of the cult in Snyder v. Phelps saying is activities are protected free speech.

She called the opinion “ten times better than anything I’d ever imagined,” and she spoke directly at Albert Snyder, adding, “We thank you for putting a megaphone to the mouth of this little church.”

Mr. Snyder is the father of Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder who died in Al Anbar Province in Iraq on March 2, 2006.

Part of the SCOTUS ruling reads:  “Westboro believes that America is morally flawed; many Americans might feel the same about Westboro. Westboro’s funeral picketing is certainly hurtful and its contribution to public discourse may be negligible. But Westboro addressed matters of public import on public property, in a peaceful manner, in full compliance with the guidance of local officials. The speech was indeed planned to coincide with Matthew Snyder’s funeral, but did not itself disrupt that funeral, and Westboro’s choice to conduct its picketing at that time and place did not alter the nature of its speech.”

“Speech is powerful. It can stir people to action, move them to tears of both joy and sorrow, and—as it did here—inflict great pain. On the facts before us, we cannot react to that pain by punishing the speaker. As a Nation we have chosen a different course—to protect even hurtful speech on public issues to ensure that we do not stifle public debate. That choice requires that we shield Westboro from tort liability for its picketing in this case.”

Phelps observed, “I do very much appreciate that I get to be the mouth of God in this matter.”

That statement convinces me, as I’m sure it does many others, that Margie Phelps has created God in her own image since, in her twisted mind, God hates all the same people she does.

The religious zealots first gained the national stage when they protested the funeral of Matthew Shepard, a young man in Wyoming, who was beaten to death because he was a homosexual.  They protested as well the funeral of Michael Jackson and announced plans to appear at the funeral of little 9-year-old Christina Green who was gunned down by Jared Loughner in Tucson in January 2011.  You can read more about their abhorrent spectacles here.

A certain George Soros funded blog cherry-picked (edited) part of an exclusive interview Fox News did with Phelps on Sunday, March 6, 2011.

“It’s telling that in a week which featured deeply manipulative anti-worker tactics by the Ohio GOP, growing unrest in the Middle East, a court decision allowing implementation of the Affordable Care Act to move forward, and the Main Street Movement’s first steps to recall eight anti-worker lawmakers in Wisconsin, Fox decided to ignore these stories in order to focus on the important question of whether President Obama is the Antichrist.” [Emphasis mine.]

No, the most important question is not Phelps’ high regard for America’s Child Emperor.  It’s about Westboro’s absolutist interpretation of the Bible and its seventy or so parishioners who believe they alone know the true path for America’s salvation.

It’s about the Snyder family and the loss of their brave son, who like others, gave their last full measure of devotion to the cause that gave the Westboro ghouls the ability to express themselves in the manner they have chosen.

The First Amendment guarantees every American their right to free speech. It also guarantees every American the right to be as stupid and evil as they want, in front of as many cameras as they rustle up.

It’s hard to stomach, especially when your heart goes out to these grieving families, but the evil spewed by people like this will be their final undoing. Remember The Bible warned believers of people like this. They have been around for thousands of years and will continue to be until we all go to our rewards.

We all face judgment sooner or later. They might be a bit, shall we say, surprised, when their time comes.

Fred Phelps was a Gore friend and fundraiser, running for office as a Democrat three times. He abandoned Gore only when the latter gave up his “I hate gay marriage” stance.

Phelps has communicated with or visited a number of dictators from Hussein to Castro, attacking and denigrating the US at every opportunity. He hates the US, the Constitution, Reagan, Bush, and so on — and yet is portrayed inevitably by the media as “right wing.”

Rachel Maddow And The Continuing Saga Of The Polished Truth

MSNBC’s boyish news reader with the bowl haircut, Rachel Maddow, made no effort to hide her pomposity when she said this on her show on February 17, 2011:  “’I’m here to report that there is nothing wrong in the state of Wisconsin. Wisconsin is fine. Wisconsin is great, actually. Despite what you may have heard about Wisconsin’s finances, Wisconsin is on track to have a budget surplus this year.”

“I am not kidding. I’m quoting their own version of the Congressional Budget Office, the state’s own nonpartisan ‘assess the state’s finances’ agency. That agency said the month that the new Republican governor of Wisconsin was sworn in, last month, that the state was on track to have a $120 million budget surplus this year. So, then why exactly does Wisconsin look like this right now?”

Poor misinformed teleprompter reader.  Little boy trapped in a woman’s body.

Rachel Maddow has done it again.  Remember when she fell hook-line-and-sinker for the fake news story that Sarah Palin was calling for an “American-led invasion of Egypt to protect North America?”  Maddow said, “This is not Sarah Palin’s idea.  This is what someone is suggesting for Sarah Palin.”

She cited a memorandum prepared by Robert Lang, director of the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau but failed to note that it outlines $258 million in unpaid bills or expected shortfalls in programs such as Medicaid services for the needy—$174 million alone—and the state owes Minnesota $58.7 million under a discontinued tax reciprocity deal.

Politifact.com became curious about the claims by Maddow and madman Ed Schultz and did some digging.  You can read their findings here.  They call her claims false. I say she’s lying.  A bogus fairytale designed to gin up the union goons.  Too harsh?  Meh.

Hey Comcast execs, what do you think about your clueless primetime crew?

Ron Paul, The “Ronulans” and The Young Americans For Freedom Kerfuffle

Let me state for the record that I am not a Ron Paul supporter and doubt very seriously if I could ever be swayed to become one.  I have a strong opinion about the Texas Congressman.  He grates on my nerves more than a rotten rendition of the National Anthem by Christina Aguilera.

Following the announcement at the 2011 CPAC that Paul had won the straw poll, Young Americans for Freedom issued a press release advising that the group had voted him off its national advisory board.

Jordan Marks, the group’s National Director, said, “It’s a sad day in American history when a one-time conservative/libertarian stalwart has fallen more out of touch with America’s needs for national security than our current socialist presidential regime.”

Marks went on to harshly say, “Rep. Paul is clearly off his meds and must be purged from public office.  YAF is starting the process by removing him from our national advisory board.  Good riddance and he won’t be missed.”

Responding to YAF’s announcement, Ron Paul’s political director and an in-law, Jesse Benton belligerently said, “I haven’t heard of YAF doing anything in years, I thought they were defunct.  Young Americans for Liberty is the group of the future.”

This “group of the future” is the national youth affiliate of the Ron Paul Revolution and was officially launched in December 2008 so it stands to reason that Benton would try to trivialize their decision to oust him.

Politico notes that the Paul group sought to skew the straw poll by buying 1,000 tickets to the conference and a Paul aide told another Republican that they’d recruited at least 700 supporters to vote for him.  What this says to me is that his “Ronulans” are more adept at winning him beauty contests than primaries.

Ron Paul’s zombie cult of “Ronulans” showed their asses when they chose to heckle former Vice President Dick Cheney who was at CPAC to present Donald Rumsfeld with the “Defender of the Constitution” award by calling him a “war criminal”.  They also yelled, “Where’s Bin Laden?”, “murdering scum” and “draft dodger.”  Nice.

It was this exhibition of incivility that prompted Donald Trump, another CPAC featured speaker and potential presidential candidate to declare, “By the way, Ron Paul cannot get elected. I’m sorry, folks. I like Ron Paul, but he has zero chance of getting elected.”

Ron Paul is so far out there that he’s literally in orbit; hence his followers are referred to as “Ronulans.”

Let’s begin with why I dislike Ron Paul.

He proselytizes fiscal sanity yet he is one of five U.S. House members who brought home more total earmarked money—54 earmarks totaling $398,460,640—three of the five Congressmen were defeated in the 2010 November mid-term elections.  So he’s not really a crusader against spending.

Paul consistently hypes gold and the gold standard.  His personal wealth is almost entirely invested in the precious metal and its mining stocks.  He is mesmerized by the aura of gold so if his political stance is heeded his personal wealth increases exponentially. So he’s the pot calling the kettle black.

Further, Ron Paul is against “foreign entanglements”.  Isolationism is not intelligent. How would he deal with an international menace?

John Bolton, speaking at CPAC 2011, took a stand against Libertarian-leaning Republicans like Ron Paul to reduce defense spending by saying now is “not the time for indiscriminate budget cuts in our national defense budget.”

In his often recited critique of 9/11, Paul never once mentions the fiery rage of jihadi fundamentalism that aims to restore “the lost caliphate” and invoke medieval Sharia law. In Paul’s world, resentment towards “U.S. entanglements” led a group of sexually repressed Muslim men, brought up on a doctrine of aggressive Wahhabism and the promise of seventy-two virgins to crash two planes into the World Trade Center.

Not once does he answer why, if U.S. foreign policy causes so many people around the world to “hate us,” Islamic murderers carry out their suicide bombings  in India, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Nigeria, and other unaligned Muslim nations.

From 2007 in the Washington Post, here’s Paul talking about America’s defenses:

“There’s nobody in this world that could possibly attack us today…I mean, we could defend this country with a few good submarines. If anybody dared touch us we could wipe any country off of the face of the earth within hours. And here we are, so intimidated and so insecure and we’re acting like such bullies that we have to attack third-world nations that have no military and have no weapon.”

Not only does his rhetoric shadow that of Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s “wiping off the map” threats, it unforgivably ignores the fact that a domestic passenger flight from Boston to Los Angeles is at the root of the tragic events of 9/11.  Try as I might, I fail to see how a submarine can penetrate terrorism.  I regard his statement as ludicrous fantasy.

Finally, there is a piece I found at American Thinker dated November 17, 2007 which sheds light on Paul’s apparent unwillingness to reject extremist groups’ public participation in his campaign and financial support.

In a word, I find Ron Paul to be reckless.

The fact that Paul seems to attract all these conspiracy theorists and anti semites says something. There is a reason why these people gravitate towards him. This is reason enough for me to say that I don’t like him nor does he have a chance of winning a national election.

It will be interesting to see if he does indeed try for the senate seat or he decides to go for another failed presidential bid.

I agree 100%. Ron Paul is nuts. His only sane idea is “audit the Fed”, except his solution to the Fed is to blow up our banking and monetary systems and start over.. Spend 5 minutes with a Paulestinian and you find yourself questioning your own sanity. He’s a Blame America Firster, a 9/11 Truther, a Nazi-sympathizer, and his version of banking would effectively eliminate the credit markets. His head-in-the-sand foreign policy is sophomoric at best.

Fortunately, as Donald Trump said, Ron Paul is unelectable. He won’t come within 10 light years of the Republican nomination.

@zilla – for sheer comedic value you can’t beat the Ronulans. I have a few Real Life friends who drank the RP Kool Aid and their Facebook / Twitter antics are a never-ending source of amusement.

    O+O=O

Oprah Winfrey, the “Queen of Talk” who built an empire on the gullibility and ignorance of the American housewife, has called on critics of The Child Emperor to “show some level of respect.”

Appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the perpetually pudgy prima donna said, “I feel that everybody has a learning curve, and I feel that the reason why I was willing to step out for him was because I believed in his integrity and I believed in his heart.”

This is the same woman who “felt conned” by author James Frey who admitted that he lied and embellished events about himself and other characters in his best-selling book about substance abuse and recovery, “A Million Little Pieces”.  The book was endorsed by Winfrey in 2005 who later said, “It’s embarrassing and disappointing for me.”

This is also the same woman who embraced Eckhart Tolle’s book, “A New Earth”, a self-help book combining psychology and spirituality considered to be “religion light”.  So caught up in its half-truths and half-fabrications was Winfrey that she was challenged by members of her television audience for a New Age worldview that includes the belief that there is no sin, no evil, no devil, and that God is “in” everyone and everything.

Snopes.com includes a YouTube® video in which Winfrey denies Jesus Christ in the “mind-training” she espoused.

I’m certain to catch flack from those who still think the woman who needs help carrying her ego around is a wonderful talk show host and philanthropist, but I’ve never had much use for her bunkum.  I guess it’s because my moral compass doesn’t need adjusting by the likes of a woman who hasn’t been entirely truthful in her lifetime.

We told you “The One” wasn’t ready to be president. We told you he didn’t have the skill sets, the experience.  We told you he would be in over his head and we were right.

Learning curve?  Oprah, sweetie, it’s been two years.  I do believe the learning curve has run its course.  Stop your whining already.

Right on! Oprah is not as relevant as she’d like to think she is and everyone except her most ardent and deluded hardcore fans stopped paying attention to her when she started her full blown hopeychangey Barry shilling. Barry has no respect for this country or the people he is supposed to be working for, I don’t think he has respect for anything at all, he certainly does not deserve MY respect.

Spot on! Oprah and libs have dropped the learning so low that I’m not sure there is a learning curve anymore (at least for the leftists who watch the show). Oprah is a leader of idiots and thinks that she’s all that, when she’s not. BO hates this country. He is a cultural Muslim, Marxist buffoon who is working to “transform” this country into his utopian dreamland, working to destroy the Republic and subvert the constitution which he took an oath to uphold and defend. BO doesn’t deserve respect. America deserves respect and honor. To honor, respect, and save America from tyranny we need to boot his sorry butt out of Office.

Oprah herself doesn’t bother me. I actually respect some of the things she has done in her life. I especially like when she was honest about that school she opened in Africa and said that many in this country don’t respect the need for education. Sadly, that is a true statement and it took bravery for her to say it.

But, I certainly wouldn’t take her advice on who to vote for. Nor would I take it from any other talk show host; including those on the right. I suppose that many agree with me when you consider how much her ratings dropped after she did it.

I also completely disagree with the premise that she helped get him elected. He rode the I Hate Bush wave to perfection all the way to shore. The country was tired after Bush and wanted something different and the GOP nominee in way offered that alternative.

The value of education is solely based on what’s being taught. The value of Pan-African Studies departments’ educations is questionable– to put it mildly.

Yes, there have been issues at that school, but they were handled immediately. The truth is she could have put that much money and more into a school into this country and it wouldn’t have changed anything. To come out and say that many Americans don’t value education the way that they should did to take bravery. At least to me.

There have been molestation issues by house mothers that were “handled.” Violence is still very much an issue there. Go through the archives of some South African papers and you’ll find instances of student violence that are disturbing.

Oprah’s vague statements are both common and useless. It’s not unusual to rag on Americans for not valuing education. It happens all the time in universities and just around town where I live.

While there is a need for schools (among many other things) all through Africa, tossing in some overly generalized and useless jibe at American culture is hardly brave. A problem in parts of the US now is over-education.

If she were actually brave she might want to talk about something specific. Perhaps the way in which Black Americans don’t value “inauthentic White” education as exemplified by the Shaker Heights study (and well known by anyone acquainted with the American Black community). Bringing that issue up would have been brave on a couple of levels and might actually help the issue by acknowledging its existence. But that’s not coming from Oprah.

If Egypt Falls: James And The Giant Bungle

The Muslim Brotherhood, which was founded in 1928 by Egyptian schoolteacher, Hassan al-Banna, is inciting rebellion against the Mubarak regime in Cairo. The Brotherhood’s goal is to inflict Islam on the world.  Its motto is: “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”

On Thursday, February 10, 2011, Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper claimed in testimony on Capitol Hill that the Muslim Brotherhood is largely secular, has “eschewed violence” and doesn’t need to be speculated upon.

“The term ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ is an umbrella term for a variety of movements, in the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam,” Clapper said. “They have pursued social ends, a betterment of the political order in Egypt, etc…In other countries, there are also chapters or franchises of the Muslim Brotherhood, but there is no overarching agenda, particularly in pursuit of violence, at least internationally.”

Let’s review.  Do these words sound largely secular?  “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.” Nope. No mosque-state separation there.

The Brotherhood has not only described itself as an Islamist group, but is committed to implementing Sharia law.  Its progeny is Egyptian Islamic Jihad which was responsible for the murder of Anwar Sadat in 1981 and later joined forces with al Qaeda.  And let’s not forget their bloody offshoot, Hamas, the terrorist group that lobs scud missiles into Israel.

Jamie Smith, director of the office of public affairs for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence later in the day said in a statement to ABC News: “To clarify Director Clapper’s point—in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood makes efforts to work through a political system that has been, under Mubarak’s rule, one that is largely secular in its orientation—he is well aware that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular organization.”

Ambassador Dore Gold, a world renowned expert on Middle Eastern affairs, offers this instructive background:  “The current Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Muhammad Badi’, gave a sermon in September 2010 stating that Muslims today ‘need to understand that the improvement and change that the [Muslim] nation seeks can only be attained through jihad and sacrifice and by raising a jihadi generation that pursues death, just as the enemies pursue life.’ In short, the Muslim Brotherhood remains committed to supporting militant activities in order to advance its political aims. From looking at the biographies of its most prominent graduates, one can immediately understand the organization’s long-term commitment to jihadism.”

If Egypt falls to the Muslim Brotherhood, it will embolden other fanatical revolutions throughout the region and the world. As surely as day turns to night, they will come after Europe which is almost gone and America, which still has time to save itself.

At 11:04AM EDT on February 11, 2011 Twitter Breaking News announced that Mubarak has stepped down.  What is the new thing that replaces him?

You Sir, Are No Ronald Reagan

Jerry Seib, Assistant Managing Editor of the Wall Street Journal, tries valiantly [see video embedded at No Sheeples Here] to depict America’s Child Emperor as the second coming of Ronald Reagan. Mr. Seib, this country knew Ronald Reagan and he, sir, is no Ronald Reagan.

Obama is a crooked dealer in a backroom poker game. Neither a negotiator nor a compromiser. He merely took advantage of a hobbled 111th Congress in a lame duck session. He played what amounted to an ace he had hidden up his sleeve.

The Democrats are stuck with this riverboat gambler for two more years and must spend that time searching haplessly for a way out of the trap they set for themselves when they and the state-sponsored media apparatchik failed to vet him.

Earlier in his term, the Child Emperor had left the details of signature issues such as health care and the stimulus package to congressional leaders. After what he called a “shellacking” in the midterms, he took charge of tax negotiations, risking the wrath of his liberal base to win a deal with Republicans quickly.

He pressed forward with a ratification vote on the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with Russia with lukewarm support from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). Even some members of his White House had misgivings over the timing, according to officials in the regime.

What we are now witnessing is not POTUS Version 2.0, but rather a president-in-training casting himself as heeding the wishes of voters who demanded bipartisanship when they delivered a “shellacking” to the Democratic Party in the midterm elections.

He has no grit. My apologies to John Wayne.

Child Emperor Abdicates Throne To ShamWow Guy

The surprise press conference everyone is talking about reminds me of the ShamWow Guy, the television pitchman who’s been phenomenally successful peddling absorbent towels and food choppers.

The astounding moment in the presser came when the Child Emperor, Obama, abdicated his throne to the ShamWow Guy, the once-impeached Bubba Clinton.

Bubba opened with, “First of all I feel awkward being here,” when he first took the microphone. Nothing could have been further from the truth.

He was there to endorse the economic stimulus message that the Obama regime has been sending out in defense of the tax cut compromise the Child Emperor struck with Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell. “This is the best economic result for America,” Bubba said. His arguments had been heard before by everyone in the press room.

“The tax deal is the best Obama could do for the country right now,” Clinton said repeatedly during his stint at the podium. The Child Emperor bowed out after ten minutes, saying the First Lady was waiting to co-host one of the White House’s annual Christmas parties.

Obama is isolated far more than we see and the Obama regime is far more delusional than we can know. It is fair to say, in my opinion, that the current occupant of the Oval Office is in sharp retreat from the facts of the moment.  He only hears the reassuring voices of David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett and does not hear the raucous laughter emanating wildly from the Beltway.

If you think this is a breakdown of the Obama regime, you underestimate what you are witnessing. Clinton rode to the rescue.  What did Obama walk away from?  The job of the presidency.

Will there be more ShamWow Chronicles over the next two years?  Only time will tell.

      http://truthandcommonsense.com/2010/12/11/obama-walks-clinton-talks/

The above is my post on the website. The point I was making is that once again, for all to see, Obama has shown he really doesn’t give a hoot about being President. It is all about the power it gave him to fulfill his and others’ agendas. It is what it is.

The Presidency bores him because it actually demands he stop being intellectually and physically lazy to get the job done. He doesn’t like that. He wants to glide through life being the “chosen one” as he has experienced for most of his adult life.

Further, and this is really a bouncing ball moment here, Obama HATES this country. He has spent most of his life surrounded by people teaching him all the ills of the nation, from his grandparents, his crazy-a**ed mom, to his communist dad, to his mentor- Frank Marshall Davis. If that doesn’t convince you, look at the choice he made in a spouse! She’s as bad as he is; angry, belligerent, entitled and worse.

Funny thing is that even some of those intelligent people I respect still resist the idea that Obama could be an American hating communist lover. (My mom included to my surprise.) Why? Because they don’t want to accept that this nation could elect such a screw up willingly. I propose it was neither willingly or with full knowledge because of the bias and the cover-up of the facts by most of the PC media.

Regardless, we are stuck with Dumbo for the next two years and if the economy recovers, maybe longer. If you do the numbers you’ll find he still has a very solid voting base, is going after the Hispanic vote hard and frankly I’m not sure the Republicans can find anyone able to run for president and not constantly shoot themselves in the foot!

They Lowered Their Guns On A Miraculous Christmas Eve In 1914

World War I had been raging for a year.  One million souls had already perished in the conflict.  On Christmas Eve 1914, British and German troops stood face to face in trenches divided by “No Man’s Land” along the Western Front.

The winter of 1914 was bitter. The soldiers, unequipped to face the rigors of the cold and rain, found themselves wallowing in a freezing mire of mud and the decaying bodies of the fallen.

The men entrenched there could not help but have a degree of sympathy for his enemy who was having just as miserable a time as they were.

On the eve of the “Truce”, the British Army was manning a stretch of the line running south from the infamous Ypres, a small Flemish market town, just over the border from France, for twenty-seven miles to the La Bassée Canal.

Numerous support associations on both sides flooded the front with gifts of food, warm clothes and letters of thanks. With their morale boosted and their bellies fuller than normal, and with still so many Christmas goodies on hand, the spirit of the season entered the trenches.  A British Daily Telegraph correspondent wrote that on one part of the line the Germans had managed to slip a chocolate cake into British trenches. It was accompanied by a message asking for a ceasefire later that evening so they could celebrate Christmas.

Longing for the warmth of hearth and home, the story goes that German soldiers began singing “Stille Nacht” or Silent Night from their trenches.  British troops began to sing Christmas carols too.  Thus began the Christmas Truce of 1914.

Along many parts of the line the Christmas Day truce was initiated through sadder means.  Both sides saw the lull as a chance to get into No Man’s Land and seek out the bodies of their fallen brothers-in-arms and give them a decent burial.

It is comforting to believe that the legacy of the “Christmas Truce”, nearly hundred years later, soldiers and officers who were told to hate, loathe and kill, could still lower their guns and extend the hand of goodwill and the hope of peace on earth that Christmas Eve.

It was one of the few bright moments amid the slaughter of the Great War, in which fourteen million people were killed.

Child Emperor’s White House As Nervous As A Virgin At A Prison Rodeo Over Latest WikiLeaks Bombshells

Der Spiegel quoted the State Department as saying that President Barack Obama “prefers to look East rather than West,” and “has no feelings for Europe”.  That’s the last sentence in a two-page article at The Nation.

With statements like the one above, is it any wonder that our American Child Emperor is bracing himself for the body blows sure to come his way from the latest document dump from WikiLeaks?

Toby Harnden, writing for The Telegraph, succinctly portrays the diplomatic cables this way:

“The ramifications for Mr. Obama could be enormous. With his popularity flagging at home, one of his remaining political strengths has been his high standing abroad—assiduously cultivated in a series of speeches in which he apologized for past U.S. actions and promised a kinder, gentler America.”  He further added, “He was the type of American president, apparently straight from a West Wing episode, that Europeans had dreamed of.”

It is fair to say now, as it has been for the past two years, that America’s Child Emperor has no clothes.  The reason I quote Harnden here is because his observations about this president and this administration are candid.  America’s corporate-controlled media habitually treats facts with imagination.  Reality bites and doesn’t let go. “The Messiah” they helped to elect and failed miserably at vetting is proving to be a monumental lapse in their collective judgment.  Harnden does not pander to his readers.

Harnden points out that during the 2008 election campaign, a cable written by Sir Nigel Sheinwald, the British ambassador to Washington, was leaked to The Daily Telegraph.

In it, Sir Nigel noted that Obama “does betray a highly educated and upper middle class mindset,” that he was “maybe aloof, insensitive” at times and that charges of elitism were “not entirely unfair”.

The assessment about his personality has been borne out over time but the Obama operation despised leaks, was highly protective of Obama’s carefully-crafted life “narrative” and extremely sensitive to any criticism. Now the shoe is on the other foot.

Here’s the money quote from Harnden:  “Once the WikiLeaks release happens, Mr. Obama will no doubt offer emollient words and reassurance. Unfortunately for him, however, he is likely to find that the power of his words will now be greatly diminished abroad as well as at home.”

You can read more about the WikiLeaks revelations at Memeorandum.

Child Emperor Plays Basketball While North Korea And China Scheme

I think it is fair to say that our American Child Emperor is not engaged by the Commander-in-Chief part of his job.  He has two gears and no other—he is either a frenzied campaign performance artist or a routine White House slouch who intersperses his smoke breaks with meaningless basketball games played by middle-aged men.

The American public is being fed unconscionable drivel to convince them that all is well, that what we have here is just a few savages misbehaving over some borderland.  That is a perilously foolish meme.  Why, because Tehran is a client of Kim Jung-Il’s nuclear program.  North Korea’s apparent upgrade to its nuclear-fuel production capabilities is raising fears among lawmakers and proliferation experts about Pyongyang’s potential role in supplying Iran and others with the sophisticated machinery.

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea executed the missile attacks on South Korea with cunning and their target was innocent people.  Their handiwork, which Beijing knew about beforehand, left two South Korean marines and two civilians dead and another eighteen injured.  Little Shi Mina (pictured in my post at my site) was playing on her tricycle when a shell crashed through a roof on the opposite side of the road where she was playing and erupted into a fireball.  The windows of her home were blown out as her frantic father scrambled to pull her to safety. She has been in shock ever since.

Deploying the USS George Washington to the Yellow Sea does not answer the scheming, immovable feudal regime of Kim Jung-Il and his dim son. The US treaties with Tokyo and Seoul are nearly worthless.  The situation between the Koreas is fragile, dangerous and unacceptable.

I encourage you to read what Gordon G. Chang, author of Nuclear Showdown: North Korea Takes On the World and The Coming Collapse of China has to say about Jung-Il’s promotion of “songun” .

Spooky Dude Pissed Away A Fortune On A “Bad Investment”

Hinting darkly that the Rambler-in-Chief may not have his support for much longer, George Soros, the Hungarian-American financier said “We have just lost this election, we need to draw a line and if this president can’t do what we need, it is time to start looking somewhere else.”  Uh oh.  When Daddy’s not happy, nobody’s happy.

Soros, speaking to an annual gathering of Democracy Alliance, told the progressives that he is “used to fighting losing battles but doesn’t like to lose without fighting.”

Requests for comment from the White House were not returned, though a Democratic operative sympathetic to the administration said that Soros’s dissatisfaction with the White House was “hardly news.” Sources who relayed that and other exchanges insisted on anonymity, citing the strict rules against talking to the press that come with being part of the gathering.

The election results have the partners in the Democracy Alliance scurrying like rats to find a way to change the rules.  So, if you thought we had seen ugly, think again.

Anna Burger, retired treasury secretary of SEIU said, “Instead of being pushed over by this election it has empowered people to stand up in a bigger way.”

Look out America.  You stood and delivered in the 2010 mid-terms.  The courage we must muster for 2012 will be a thousand-fold greater.  Have you the courage for this fight?

PACMAN To Be His Own Lawyer

In a rare House ethics trial set to start this morning, November 15, 2010, Congressman Charles Rangel will be defending himself against thirteen alleged ethics violations, and he is going to do it on his own.

The allegations forced Rangel to step down from his powerful position as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee—a dramatic fall for a man once counted among the most influential politicians in the country.

Rangel raided the coffers of his National Leadership PAC for $293,000 to pay his main legal-defense team this year. He took another $100,000 from the PAC in 2009 to pay lawyer Lanny Davis.

On top of the $393,000 in PAC funds, records show Rangel yanked $1.4 million from his campaign coffers in 2009 and 2010 to pay the firm Zuckerman Spaeder, his main legal-defense team, and $100,000 in 2009 to pay Davis’ firm.

He also spent $147,577 for Washington, DC, lawyer John Kern and $174,303 for Watkins, Meegan, Drury & Co., a firm that offers forensic accounting and legal services.

Washington, DC political lawyer Cleta Mitchell said there is “no authority for a member to use leadership PAC funds as a slush fund to pay for personal or official expenses.”

“I already notified them that as a result of them taking so long that I have exhausted my abilities to raise the funds which are necessary to move on,” said Rangel. “All I do is just ask for the time to be heard and I am confident that at the end of the day my constituents’ faith in me, as demonstrated by their overwhelming vote, will be well-founded.”

EXIT QUESTION:  Are voters in Harlem like Pavlov’s dog?  Until Scott Brown hit the scene, voters in Massachusetts continued to vote for Teddy Kennedy and we all how that turned out.

Mary Jo Kopechne could not be reached for comment.

    Obama’s “Hope-A-Dope” Nation

With two years left in his term, the errand boy sent by grocery clerks presides over a nation in deep and ever-growing trouble.

Through his propaganda of carefully crafted, semi-divine, yet vague and appealing buzzwords, Fearless Reader won the public’s support.  Now, his cult is crumbling.

Washington seeks to extend our dependence on government in perpetuity.  A record forty-two million Americans are on food stamps. That’s an 18% jump from 2009 and 1.4% from June 2010.

Political scientist William Voegeli’s new book, “Never Enough: America’s Limitless Welfare State” notes, “Liberals don’t want the government to grow indefinitely. They just want it to be bigger than it is right now.”

We are seeing, firsthand, that big government’s trillion-dollar stimulus programs don’t produce jobs.

The Democrats’ stimulus includes “$145 billion in state and local aid to forestall austerity measures in the public sector,” notes Manhattan Institute senior fellow E.J. McMahon. As private sector workers suffer layoffs, salary cuts and pay freezes, the stimulus gives raises to government employees—who increasingly dominate Big Labor, which returns the favor with cash for Democrats.

“I have no better friend in labor than AFSCME,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi once said of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, the U.S.’ largest political campaign donor, giving over $38 million since 1990, almost all to Democrats.

The gelding who occupies the Oval Office infused federal aid to states and localities pumping up the paychecks of heavily unionized public employees who already earn more, on average, than the people who pay their salaries.

Finally, lower cost was the campaign promise of ObamaCare, but as Medicare actuaries confirmed, it will increase healthcare costs. The president’s government takeover has already begun to boost private health insurance premiums and all we’ve seen to date is the tip of the iceberg.  Still more frightening—there are two more years left in this president-in-training’s term.

May God have mercy on this nation.

BREAKING: 89,000 Bogus Stimulus Checks Sent To Jailbait And Dead People

The Social Security Administration, the agency was charged with distributing one-time payments, sent about 89,000 bogus stimulus checks of $250 each to dead and jailed people according to a new inspector-general’s report.

The report said that of these payments, about 55,000, were sent because the recipients had died recently, and the Social Security Administration had not been informed of their deaths by states, families or funeral homes at the time the payments were sent. The remaining 17,000 of the mistaken payments were attributed to the Social Security Administration failing to properly process death records that it did have. The combined total of the bogus payments totals an astounding $22.3 million.

The Social Security Administration says that the stimulus package didn’t include a provision allowing it to try to retrieve funds that were mistakenly sent out, so it can’t try to retrieve the money.

A long-time campaigner against waste, Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) said, “This report highlights the broader problems with the Recovery Act itself. At a time like now, when nearly $350 billion in waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government annually has been reported and our national debt closing in on $13.5 trillion, these findings represent the epitome of congressional stupidity and a total disregard for accountability.”

Townhall.com Dorks Alan Grayson In The Squeakhole

The darling of the Left is in heap big trouble. Congressman Alan Grayson (D-ranged FL) has been subpoenaed about his involvement in helping a Tea Party activist get on the ballot as a re-election ploy. Lawyers contend the TEA Party, which is a registered political party and has several candidates, including Peg Dunmire, who is running for Grayson’s 8th Congressional District seat, is a front and that Grayson has colluded with them to draw votes from the Republican candidate, former state lawmaker Daniel Webster.

The latest Sunshine State/VSS poll shows Luca Brasi, er, I mean Alan “Die Quickly” Grayson trailing Republican Daniel Webster by seven points.

He’s even more unpopular than the errand boy sent by grocery clerks, which is not surprising given how controversial he has been with his rhetoric and TV ads.

So now we have Townhall.com giving Grayson some of his own medicine and Mary Poppins is nowhere to be found to administer a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down.

Hoyer “Tax, Tax, Spend, Spend Democrat” Says No To Bush-Era Tax Cuts

House lawmakers won’t vote on an extension of the Bush-era tax cuts before the November midterm elections unless the Senate acts first.

“If the Senate can’t do anything, our position is clear. We don’t need to have a vote to let the American people know where we stand,” said Steny Hoyer (D-MD). Really, you sanctimonious bastard?

Hoyer’s comments cast serious doubt on whether there will be any congressional action on extending the tax cuts before lawmakers hit the campaign trails in advance of the Nov. 2 elections.

Without congressional action, the lower tax rates enacted during the Bush administration in 2001 and 2003 will expire at the end of the year.

And from our Thank You Sir, May I Have Another Dept.:

Under the errand boy sent by grocery clerks’ regime, the unemployment rate has gone from 4.6 percent in January 2007 to 9.6 percent in August 2010.  More people are unemployed, with the numbers more than doubling, from 7 million in January 2007 to 14.9 million in August 2010. The federal budget deficit has exploded from what was an embarrassing $163 billion at the close of fiscal 2007 to an estimated $1.46 trillion for the fiscal year about to close on Sept. 30—an increase of nine times. New monthly bankruptcies have risen from 57,240 in January 2007 to 127,028 in August 2010. Our national debt has ballooned from just over $9 trillion at the end of fiscal 2007 to almost $13.5 trillion in less than three years.

Please Excuse Us For Being So Dumb Senator Kerry

Not all of us are bright enough to be C students at Yale nor are we smart enough to marry a deceased colleague’s billionaire widow. Please excuse us for being so dumb Sen. Kerry.

Blogger-in-Arms, Professor William Jacobson, proprietor of Legal Insurrection, jumped in with both feet when he learned that Sen. John “Waffles” Kerry blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing against Republicans across the nation.

“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry told reporters at the Boston Herald after touring the Boston Medical Center.

In 2006, the former presidential candidate had to apologize for a statement he made at a California college that U.S. students who did not study hard and stay in school would end up “stuck in Iraq.”

This is the same man who attended an anti-war rally with “Hanoi Jane” Fonda. Testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on April 23, 1971, Kerry claimed that U.S. soldiers had “raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.”

This is the same man who, on the same day led members of Vietnam Veterans Against The War in a protest during which they threw their medals and ribbons over a fence in front of the U.S. Capitol. Kerry later admitted the medals he threw were not his. To this day they hang on the wall of his office.

As a national leader of VVAW, Kerry campaigned against the effort of the United States to contain the spread of Communism. He used the blood of servicemen still in the field for his own political advancement by claiming that their blood was being shed unnecessarily or in vain.

Under Kerry’s leadership, VVAW members mocked the uniform of United States soldiers by wearing tattered fatigues marked with pro-communist graffiti. They dishonored America by marching in demonstrations under the flag of the Viet Cong enemy.

Kerry believes we should be mad at stonewalling Republicans and “big money” in politics, referring to a bill blocked by Republicans Thursday that would reveal corporate and union leaders who fund big-bucks political ads

It takes some real hubris to complain about “big money” in politics, when you’re John Kerry, husband to the heiress of the Heinz family fortune, and when the biggest political splash you’ve made this year is that you were caught docking your yacht in Rhode Island to avoid paying your home state’s luxury tax.

This is your modern Democratic party, ladies and gentleman.  Hubris and entitlement. Our “betters” are digging themselves deeper and deeper into a more extreme and irrelevant ideological pit, becoming shriller and angrier as they realize “We the People” are no longer listening, but mocking them and finding our voices.

Oh, we get it John.  We get it.  That, I promise.
