Five years is a long time to keep saying the same thing over and over again…

Isn’t the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results?

If that’s the case, then I’m definitely insane. Blogging does that to you.

Today is my personal little blog’s birthday. It’s five years old. On Pi Day. Never in my wildest imaginings did I think that I’ll still be doing it five years later, that I would meet so many like-minded (and not so like-minded) people, that I would have so much fun, that I would learn so much, that I would travel to strange and exotic places just to meet other bloggers, that I would actually meet and converse with really important people (see that picture!), that there are so many people out there who will drop to their knees in a heartbeat and pray for you just because you asked.

God is so good.

If anything, blogging restored my faith in humanity and that our country really does have a chance regardless of the current “leadership”. And I use that term loosely.

I’m grateful for it all – especially the wonderful circle of sisters here at Potluck.

Here’s to the first five and for the next five to come. God Bless America!
