    CPAC and the Occupiers

I had loads of fun with the occuppiers.  I mean that seriously.  They also brought their homes with them, when they marched they brought their stinky tents with them.  Too funny.

I have video but I had to recharge my batteries and don’t have time to get it done this morning.  I will upload later.

I see that they admitted they were paid to be there.  Shocker!!!

They did get into the hotel, but that didn’t last long.  They tried to get to Breitbart.  You can just imagine how that worked out.

The conservative media was threatened with arrest if they got too close to them.

The occuppiers were sitting in the middle of road chanting Whose Street, Our Street and the police did nothing, yet Stacy from The Other McCain got his beer taken away from him.

But the saddest/funniest part of it is the fact that I don’t think that they realize they were just a source of entertainment to us.

The AFL-CIO rented a bunch of rooms last night which means they will be around again today.  Lets hope the occupiers took the opportunity to take a shower.

What Jay-Z Really Thinks of the 99%

Over the weekend Jay-Z and Beyonce became the proud parents of a healthy baby girl, Blue Ivy.  Wonderful, good for them.  It is nice to see a high-powered couple happily married and bringing children into the world.

Jay-Z is a big supporter of the Occupy Wall Street movement.  He wants to pay more taxes.  Why exactly he just doesn’t fill out a 1040 EZ and pay the full 35% is beyond me, but he wants to see more tax dollars go to the “underprivileged”.  Of course the meaning of underprivileged is a relative term.

Jay-Z is also a man who decided to sell T-Shirts for the Occupy Wall Street movement on his Roca-Wear website, but didn’t feel the need to share the profits with the movement.  After being publicly shamed, the shirts came down off his clothing line’s website.  As far as anyone knows, no profits off what were sold was ever given to the movement.

But, getting back to his daughter.  She made her way into the world at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan.  One of the busiest hospitals in the most populated city in America.  The Carter’s (Jay-Z’s given name) pulled out all the stops to protect the privacy of their new bundle of joy.  While I completely agree that no woman would ever want pictures of her in the middle of child-birth to show up on some rag paper for worldwide consumption.  Who can blame them.  They wanted to protect their baby.  I would want to do the same.

So they decided to make sure no one could bother them.  They hired security and bought out the entire floor of the hospital to ensure the big moment was a private family affair.  The problem is that the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit was also on that floor.

Newborn and preemies that are fighting for their lives were on that floor.  Parents who are dealing with the stress of having a child in that precarious position had to deal with their security.

Neil Coulon, 38, of Brooklyn said the stress of his wife delivering two premature girls was tripled by Beyoncé’s bodyguards treating Lenox Hill Hospital like an exclusive nightclub.
Coulon griped that he’s been repeatedly barred from the sixth-floor neonatal intensive care unit, once for 20 minutes, by the superstar couple’s private security.
He said bodyguards wearing headsets even cleared the sixth floor waiting room, booting his relatives out.

    He goes on

:“I know they spent $1.3 million and I’m just a contractor from Bed-Stuy, but the treatment we received was not okay,” Coulon said. “My wife is just terribly upset. She had a C-section. She gave birth to twins. She is sore. Nobody needs this.”

No brand new mom of preemies who are dealing with their babies in distress should be forced to deal with this.  It is reported that they paid $1.3 million dollars for the floor.  For that kind of money she could have gone to a more private hospital setting and given birth there instead of inconveniencing stressed out parents.

Hey occupiers, this is what he really thinks of the 99%.  Oh, and by the way, blue is a color, not a name.

Quote of the Day – Dave Bray Edition

“We wanted to get a legally properly permitted concert together to say thank you to the hard working men and women on Wall Street and also to say thank for all that the New York Police Department and the Fire Department of New York had to put up with for the last couple months with these Occupy guys.  We want to say thank you but we can’t even do it legally with the proper permit. But anybody who wants to bash America, it seems like they can stop on down to Zucotti and poop all over cop cars,”

Dave Bray, lead singer for Madison Rising, upon hearing that they would not be allowed to get a permit to play a live concert at Zuccotti Park.

The name Madison Rising is an ode to founding father James Madison.  Madison Rising’s members are known to be conservative leaning.

The owners of the park said that they didn’t want any live bands playing at the park, but denied the permit the very same day that Third Eye Blind gave a thank you concert to the squatters.  Can you say HYPOCRISY?

This is helping to promote their “message” how?

Whatever point the Occupy mobs are trying to make, they are probably not going to win people over to their “cause” by TERRORIZING LITTLE KIDS.

What horrible people. Via CBS New York:

They were caught in the middle of madness.

Some grade school students were forced to walk a gauntlet of screaming “Occupy Wall Street” protesters just to get to school on Thursday.

It was a wild day in lower Manhattan for most everyone involved, including elementary school children who had to brave the mayhem just to get to class on the other side of Wall Street.

In the middle of thousands of protestors yelling and chanting — some kicking and screaming – CBS 2’s Emily Smith found little school kids trying to get to class. Nervous parents led them through the barriers on Wall Street. The NYPD helped funnel the children, anything to ease their fears while some protestors chanted “follow those kids!”

“These guys are terrorists, yelling at little kids,” one father said.

“For them it’s horrible. They’re afraid of all the crowds. We’re not even able to get through. They’re just, he’s … very afraid now,” a mother added.

One protester followed a father and his little daughter all the way down the block. As the school day ended just after 3 p.m. children trickled out of Leman Manhattan Prep on Broad Street. Smith heard a 4-year-old boy telling his mom he was scared. MORE

    Just awful.

This IS awful. And the OWSers think they are legit, fighting for a cause that`s just ! How just is it to frighten school kids and their parents. Damn stupid and criminal if you ask me !

The only other entity I can think of that thinks their “cause” is so just that it’s OK to hurt little kids for it is islam. Anti-Semites of a feather I guess.

Eventually, communism, socialism which support labor unions and much of the OWS movement, and islam / sharia law, all of which serve NO GOOD PURPOSE, MUST be eradicated from the face of the Earth !

“We’ve got five bike-powered generator systems that are coming from Boston and we’ve got five more plus other ones that are going to supplement as well so we’re completely, completely off the grid”

Lauren Minis – Occupy Wall Street Protester on New York City removing the gas powered generators due to safety reasons.

My question is are they going to ask the homeless back to ride the bikes for them?

Does the fact that these people cannot generate enough power to warm themselves using solar or wind not register?

Just wanted to put this on the freshest “Occupiers” thread; four weeks or so into the OWSer protest movement and so far, 2,693 arrests have been made ! The Tea Party Movement is just over 2 YEARS old and to my knowledge, no tea partier has been arrested. Forgive me if I missed one or maybe two !

Unfortunately, it doesn’t stay in there as they like to go out and mob up the streets or mob up in front of people’s homes! Also, infectious disease will not stay in there, and those occupuke joints are inviting all kinds of disease with their filth, vermin, and touchyfeelygropiness!

Occupy Wall Street Quote of the Day

“We’ve been having a team of alchemists and faith healers and doctors of physics working together to develop a mathematical formula to levitate the building,”

Tim Franzen, “leader” of Occupy Atlanta talking about what should be done with the Koch Brothers.

Well, at least someone is working there.

This has basically rendered me speechless.

Similar problem here. I find it difficult to talk when I am gasping for air ROTFLMAO!

Although I am a bit surprised the alchemists aren’t working on a way of transforming CO2 into gold. ;-)

      • SignPainterGuy 4:36 PM on 10/26/2011 Permalink | Reply

I get your point, but considering that CO2 is a gas, and it would take a tremendous amount of gas to make an appreciable amount of any solid, and that the occupiers have been shown to be quite a lazy bunch, wouldn`t it be easier and infinitely more practical for the alchemists to convert CO2 to Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)? So much more pleasurable ! ;-)

Quote of the Day – Ricky Torres Edition

“We want to make sure everyone is here for the right reason,” said Ricky Torres, 23, who is part of the security unit. “Some are homeless and people who are not really up to any good.”

Protest Organizers who are complaining of the growing group.

Many of the newcomers to the tent city are attracted by the donated freebies: pizza, sandwiches, fruit, as well as bins of sweaters, pants, boots, even underwear. There are also handout comforters for anyone who wants 40 winks.

And with complimentary condoms on hand, a 1960s-style free love has begun to blossom. More than 400 participants spent the night Friday huddling and cuddling in Zuccotti Park.

None of which sits well with the movement’s leaders, who set up an internal police group to stop the boozing, pot smoking and hanky-panky.

What?  The homeless aren’t part of the 99%?  Aren’t they supposed to fighting for all the “little” people?

They hypocrisy of the left amazes me still.  They set up an occupation based on the little people who want “real” democracy (we live in a republic, by the way) and have demands about how people don’t even have to work to make $20 an hour, then complain that people are freeloaders?  Did they think their message through to the logical conclusion?  If they have their way, the entire country will become like that stinky park in New York.  That is exactly what they are fighting for.

Liberal logic in action.  They get what they ask for, then are unhappy with the results.

Bill Ayers Statement on Occupy Wall Street

What follows is the first official, collective statement of the protesters in Zuccotti Park:

As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.

As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.

They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage.
They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses.
They have perpetuated inequality and discrimination in the workplace based on age, the color of one’s skin, sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.
They have poisoned the food supply through negligence, and undermined the farming system through monopolization.
They have profited off of the torture, confinement, and cruel treatment of countless animals, and actively hide these practices.
They have continuously sought to strip employees of the right to negotiate for better pay and safer working conditions.
They have held students hostage with tens of thousands of dollars of debt on education, which is itself a human right.
They have consistently outsourced labor and used that outsourcing as leverage to cut workers’ healthcare and pay.
They have influenced the courts to achieve the same rights as people, with none of the culpability or responsibility.
They have spent millions of dollars on legal teams that look for ways to get them out of contracts in regards to health insurance.
They have sold our privacy as a commodity.
They have used the military and police force to prevent freedom of the press.
They have deliberately declined to recall faulty products endangering lives in pursuit of profit.
They determine economic policy, despite the catastrophic failures their policies have produced and continue to produce.
They have donated large sums of money to politicians, who are responsible for regulating them.
They continue to block alternate forms of energy to keep us dependent on oil.
They continue to block generic forms of medicine that could save people’s lives or provide relief in order to protect investments that have already turned a substantial profit.
They have purposely covered up oil spills, accidents, faulty bookkeeping, and inactive ingredients in pursuit of profit.
They purposefully keep people misinformed and fearful through their control of the media.
They have accepted private contracts to murder prisoners even when presented with serious doubts about their guilt.
They have perpetuated colonialism at home and abroad.
They have participated in the torture and murder of innocent civilians overseas.
They continue to create weapons of mass destruction in order to receive government ontracts.*

To the people of the world, We, the New York City General Assembly occupying Wall Street in Liberty Square, urge you to assert your power.

Exercise your right to peaceably assemble; occupy public space; create a process to address the problems we face, and generate solutions accessible to everyone.

To all communities that take action and form groups in the spirit of direct democracy, we offer support, documentation, and all of the resources at our disposal.

Join us and make your voices heard!

Do these people understand patent laws?  Or the law in general?  Illegal foreclosure due to not being the original bank?  Sorry, but if another buys a bank they attain your mortgage.  There are things in the small print of any legal contract about the buying and selling of loans.  You signed on the dotted so you agreed to it.  Used the military to forgo freedom of the press?  Where does this stuff come from?

The really sad part is that people on all sides of the political aisle could come together on some of these issues.  But they have to make it about things that have no business being in the realm of the federal government.

It is quite amusing that they have decided to go with Bill Ayers to come up with a unified voice of what they are after.  If he doesn’t get his away will he start setting of bombs again?

    H/T Bill Ayers.com

You may find it as interesting as I did that no where on his site does he mention his time in the Weather Underground or about his arrest record for his bombings.

Oh, Isn’t This Special – They Have Demands

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending “Freetrade” by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

    Demand four: Free college education.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America’s nuclear power plants.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the “Books.” World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the “Books.” And I don’t mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

These demands will create so many jobs it will be completely impossible to fill them without an open borders policy.

Well, lets see.  Every person in America gets paid $20 per hour.  How much are we going to paying for a bar of soap in this universe?  You don’t even have to work to get it.

I especially like demand eight – This is them admitting that the constitution is color blind.  So it isn’t that they don’t know that, they just choose to ignore it, and demand “rights” that don’t exist.

How long would it take to count all ballots in this country by hand?

Apparently, some of these people actually have a brain and are getting upset at this list of demands.  Someone there may actually realize that this won’t work.  Although, I doubt it.

These demands have been thought “up” but not “out” ! None of it will happen and none of it would work !

Let them demand till the cows come home !

LOL, what loons. And it gets even better. Apparently, they posted on their site that everyone should stop listing demands because it makes them look like what they are (extremist nutjobs). And even better than that, the post urges them to wait until the movement’s organizers and lawyers come up with a list of demands. Talk about useful idiots; they need to be told what they want, think, and believe. But I guess we knew that already.
