Quote of the Day – Kirsten Powers Edition Part 3

Something is deeply wrong w/a country where a person fighting for abortions of healthy 20+ wk old babies is a ‘hero’

Please note she didn’t use the word fetus.

That does surprise me, but in a good way. She is one of the few Democrats who I like.

I feel the same way. She is principled. I don’t always agree with her, but she stands by her belief system regardless of party. She knows that abortion at this point in a pregnacy is wrong, as I am sure many dems do, but the difference is that she will say it.

Quote of the Day – Kirsten Powers Edition Part 2

Let me state the obvious. This should be front page news. When Rush Limbaugh attacked Sandra Fluke, there was non-stop media hysteria. The venerable NBC Nightly News’ Brian Williams intoned, “A firestorm of outrage from women after a crude tirade from Rush Limbaugh,” as he teased a segment on the brouhaha. Yet, accusations of babies having their heads severed — a major human rights story if there ever was one — doesn’t make the cut.”

Kirsten Powers in an OP-ED on the lack of media coverage of the Gosnell murder trial.

If there was ever proof that the media is totally biased and therefore more or less dead, this is it.  This is a man who killed and tortured babies.  Not a fetus, not a bunch of cells, but babies that were born alive and then murdered in a cold-blooded fashion.

We now live in a country where the media is no longer reporting the news, but pushing an agenda.  An agenda that includes the cover-up of infanticide.  You see if people knew, really knew and understood, the horrors of what happened in that butcher’s house we may just be having a discussion on limiting abortions in this country, much the same as we are discussing limited gun rights after Newtown.  The media doesn’t want that to happen, quite obviously.  You see gun rights, a right clearly written into the constitution by the way, is something that they don’t like.  But apparently killing and torturing newborns is A-OK.

A large segment of the left believes the Earth is already over-populated, so population growth must be curtailed. An ugly truth among the leaders of this agenda hates blacks. That`s the impetus behind the outlawing of DDT, to allow black Africans to die of mosquito-bourne diseases, and the large percentage of abortion centers located in black neighborhoods.

Quote of the Day – Kirsten Powers Edition

I have to say that I think you would have to be racist to even think he was talking about Barack Obama. I mean, what about ‘big black cloud’ says Barack Obama to you? He so clearly was talking about the debt that hangs over our country that it’s just insane. … Like I said, there’s some connection that he’s making between a ‘big black cloud’ and Barack Obama that I don’t think most people are.

Kirsten Powers speaking about Ed Schultz’s obviously biased and untrue attack on Gov. Rick Perry.   While I don’t agree with her politically, I do believe her to be fair on most things.
