Quote of the Day – President Obama Edition Part 9
Being out of alignment with my values.
President Obama when asked what sin is.
I am in the middle of reading a book and I came across this quote. I have always believed that President Obama is no more Christian than my dog is; I have been known to say he worships at the altar of the big government. There can be no doubt that I am correct after seeing this quote.
This comes from an interview that he gave many years ago, while running for the senate. This interview has been known to be misquoted and taken out of context. The interviewer has released the entire transcript. It is really quite fascinating. He hasn’t a clue what Christianity teaches. Not a clue.
We then can also mention the pure conceit in this comment. This man is certifiable. Truly certifiable.

“Being out of alignment with ‘my’ values.” I guess we could take that as evidence he thinks he IS the Messiah. It is surely evidence of his lack of understanding of GOD`s definition.
BHO has quoted several islamic sayings and was reported to have said them with perfect accent / dialect, but of the relative few Christian sayings, or principles, I have yet to hear him get the first one right. “There are many paths to God” is the one that stands out to me. I know of only ONE WAY; through Jesus Christ !
And FWIW, from what little we know of Obama`s past, as a kid he wasn`t much of a muslim either ! When it`s all about him, there really isn`t much room for another god.

You’ll notice he never really professes a true belief of Jesus Christ. To me, that is very telling.
Also he was bashing Fox News back then and making excuses for Rev. Wright.
FALSANI:
Do you ever have people who know you’re a Christian question a particular stance you take on an issue, how can you be a Christian and …
OBAMA:
Like the right to choose.
I haven’t been challenged in those direct ways. And to that extent, I give the public a lot of credit. I’m always stuck by how much common sense the American people have. They get confused sometimes, watch FoxNews or listen to talk radio. That’s dangerous sometimes.
FALSANI:
Do you get questions about your faith?
OBAMA:
Obviously as an African American politician rooted in the African American community, I spend a lot of time in the black church. I have no qualms in those settings in participating fully in those services and celebrating my God in that wonderful community that is the black church.
(he pauses)
But I also try to be . . . Rarely in those settings do people come up to me and say, what are your beliefs. They are going to presume, and rightly so. Although they may presume a set of doctrines that I subscribe to that I don’t necessarily subscribe to.
But I don’t think that’s unique to me. I think that each of us when we walk into our church or mosque or synagogue are interpreting that experience in different ways, are reading scriptures in different ways and are arriving at our own understanding at different ways and in different phases.

Don:
One of the things that is hammered home at my church is to never question someone else’s faith. My pastor tells us that only God truly sees what is in a heart and as humans we are unable to do it. So I truly don’t like questioning it. But this interview must lead people to question his understanding of Christ and Christianity. I am willing to concede I could be wrong, but I this leads me to believe that he doesn’t understand Christianity at all. I have long since accepted the fact that politicians will use a church or beliefs as a tool. But he takes it to a whole new level. It is also very clear here that he isn’t a person of real faith; any faith.

Fascinating; Obama feels “different” when he tells a truth ! Could it be that he is so used to lying that when “a truth” slips out, it`s a shock to his system ?
