ACORN’s Closest Ally SEIU Behind Third Party Efforts In North Carolina
SEIU, one of ACORN’s closest allies, is setting up a new party called North Carolina First in an effort to make the Democratic Party more reliable on issues that are important to labor.
Union officials have threatened to take on Democrats Heath Shuler, Mike McIntyre, and Larry Kissell who voted against ObamaCare. The usual tactic has been to endorse a Democratic primary challenger, but in North Carolina, the SEIU says it will field candidates in the general election as part of what the group is calling the North Carolina First party.

Hmm, this is definitely . . . strange. They’re up to something with this, and I’ve little doubt that the WH is somehow involved.

Watch out!
Here in NY State, SEIU and ACORN set up the Working Families Party. A vote for the WFP counts as a Dem vote (two parties for the same candidate). ACORN, SEIU, and the WFP share staff and funding, giving their Democrat primary candidates plenty of deeply discounted ads, door-to-door canvassing, press, etc., etc. Corruption charges abound, but, of course, once that “labor” candidate is in, he or she is there forever, no matter how crooked the election. Most recently, WFP withdrew their support from Congress Critters making mousey little squeeks that they might not vote for ObamaCare.
WFP pretty much owns the political scene in NYC, and they are busy setting up parties in other states. Due to the ACORN scandals and corruption cases tied up in court, they probably are looking to use a different name.
